Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, Jim Dratfield spent many years acting. His career change to photography came about as a result of the fine art sepia-tone photo portraits he took of himself and his beloved dog, Kuma. Jim has nine published books and has had many photo exhibitions. He shares his Beacon NY loft with Sawyer, his black Labrador Retriever.
